Thank you for visiting our website today. We hope you find the information you were looking for. Please remember that the information here is only a flavour of what goes on in school and you are welcome to contact us and arrange a tour should you be interested in a place for your child. You can find our informative weekly newsletters on this site, useful policies to read and forms you may wish to download. Please have a look at the photographs showing some of the activities our children have been enjoying recently.
Appley Bridge All Saints is a ‘good’ school (Ofsted 2013) where behaviour is outstanding.
As a Church School our Mission Statement summarises our ethos, ‘In God’s hands we place ourselves and with the strength he gives us we love, live and learn together.’
We enjoy very close links with All Saints Church and our pupils have a voice in school through our School Council, eco-council and Fairdos groups. We recognise that parents play a vital role in the education of their child and are fortunate that our families support school and its policies. We are always happy to talk to parents about their child’s progress and achievements. Feedback from the annual parental questionnaire is always very positive with any concerns raised being considered quickly and effectively.
School's enriching curriculum goes beyond the statutory requirements; providing pupils with a variety of experiences. In addition to the National Curriculum, we offer specialist music and French teaching, many residential experiences and a variety of visits and visitors to enhance the children’s learning.
Our spacious buildings are very well resourced. The grounds are a real asset and the locality offers further opportunities for learning about our heritage in particular. The beautiful Fairy Glen is on the doorstep and used in a variety of contexts including for Science, Geography, Literacy and Religious Education.
Should you decide that All Saints is the school for your child, we will welcome the support you can offer in forging a partnership with us in striving to ensure your child’s potential is reached. We are always happy to meet with parents to share any concerns you may have at a very early stage.
If you require any further information or a tour, please do not hesitate to contact me.
