We are thrilled to announce that we have just had our Fairachiever status renewed for a further three years.

Having been a Fairtrade school since 2012, our Fairtrade ambassadors have ensured that everyone in our school community understands the importance of the Fairtrade movement and promotes Fairtrade at several events including our summer fair. The group also lead an annual assembly during Fairtrade Fortnight, and every child in our school recognises the Fairtrade logo. Children in Year 3 and Year 5 learn about Fairtrade every year as part of their curriculum.

Huge congratulations to our school for achieving the FairAchiever Award! This prestigious recognition celebrates our deep commitment to Fairtrade and global citizenship, which is now a visible part of our daily life. From pupil-led "World Heroes" assemblies and creative themed t-shirts to using Fairtrade products like chocolate, tea, and flowers in our staff room and events, our community is making a real global impact.

Our students have shown incredible leadership, confidently spotting Fairtrade logos in everyday life and connecting their choices to vital improvements in global water, medicine, and education. By embedding Fairtrade into our curriculum and participating in major community events, we are ensuring these values remain a priority for years to come. We are so proud of everyone involved for inspiring both our school and the wider community!
