Welcome to the Year 6 class page. Mr Buckley, Mr Hunter, and Miss Hooper will all be working in Year 6 this year. On this page, you will find information about the curriculum and year group expectations in Year 6 towards the bottom and useful information for parents regarding end of Key Stage 2 Statutory Assessments. We will be aiming to update the website regularly with photographs and information about what is going on in our classroom this year.

We are looking forward to sharing some exciting things this year!

Our PE days are Tuesday and Wednesday, and our homework will be set on Tuesdays and returned into school on Mondays. 

Science - Shadow Puppet Theatre

 We have been making shadow puppets during our light topic. We plan on putting on a show which will hopefully entertain. We have made the shadow puppets from scratch and are looking forward to sharing the shows.

After testing out puppets, we put on our show! Sit back and enjoy.

PSHE - Social Media Use

 Lancashire Police came into school to give us a talk about the safe use of social media as children begin to think about transition to high school. PC Paul and PC Dave gave us plenty of useful information and helped us understand what might happen if we don't use social media responsibly. Sargeant Rachel (a past pupil of All Saints') helped us with the experience and let us pop into a police van wearing some of her uniform! Take a look below!

Tower Wood

To kick off the year, Year 6 went on a residential trip to Tower Wood. We had a great time learning new skills and practising communicating clearly with one another.
