Welcome to Appley Bridge All Saints' CE Reception Class. Our teacher is Mrs Green and our teaching assistants are Mrs Brannon and Mrs Lee. We will be having fun whilst learning lots during the year and you will find lots of photos of what we get up to posted here as we go along.

We use the 'Letters and Sounds' scheme of work to teach phonics.
Articulation of Phonemes Video
It is essential that children are taught the correct articulation of phonemes so that they will be able to segment and blend and therefore read and spell words. Here is a short video showing the correct pronunciation of all the phonemes we will teach.
